As we mentioned in our last blog post, this year’s Spring Open Weekend took place at Bridwell Park, as part of Blue Fizz Events’ superb Boho and Retro Wed Fest, where we showcased the tipis, all dressed up, for anyone planning a tipi wedding.

Our outstanding styling dream team – Nat from Meadowsweet Vintage and Jan from Granny Janny’s Bunting – used our brand colours as a starting point to interpret the boho/retro theme, creating a different style for each of the nine tables.

Nat and Jan were supported by Jess of West Dorset Wedding Flowers and Nikki from Knots & Kisses Wedding Stationery to add finishing touches to each of the tables with beautiful blooms and bespoke stationery designs.

Our own furnishings were complemented by hire items from South West Event Hire and Virginias Vintage Hire. Jen from Edible Essences Couture Cake Co created a stunning cake as a centrepiece for one of our circular tables and handmade macarons in our brand colours for individual place settings.

We were joined by Clare from Dartmoor Kitchen and Sarah Lauren Photography, both of whom were on hand to discuss their services with our visitors. Sarah very kindly photographed the weekend for us.

It was lovely to meet up with so many people over the weekend, most notably Rosie from Green Union, Brendan and Rebecca from Wed Magazine, Donna from Pasties and Petticoats and Lottie from Coco Wedding Venues.
