The rise and rise of Cloud Nine Marshmallows

So, back at the start of 2013 the lovely Murphy Williams of Cloud Nine Marshmallows popped us an email – would we be interested in sampling some marshmallows? Ummm, yes please!

Back then Murphy was toiling from her kitchen, developing her branding and getting the business up and running.  So blown away were we by the truly amazing flavours (and after a second box of samples for the tearful crew who didn’t get a chance to taste the first) that we were more than happy to recommend the product to our customers, and support a small local start-up business.

Little did we know that the ‘small’ business was set for stratospheric success.  The next time we spoke with Murphy (to organise samples for our Open Weekend), she was working on an order for Selfridges, and casually mentioned some press coverage that she had received (only Vouge, The Telegraph, The Times, and The Daily Mail!). 

Cloud Nine Marshmallows are now winning awards, moving in to purpose built premises, and satisfying the most discerning of pallets (Sophie Dahl and Kirstie Allsopp can be counted among their fans!).  They have even secured a partnership with Veuve Cliquot, supporting the launch of a new rose champagne - chin chin to that!

We are absolutely thrilled to have witnessed Cloud Nine’s incredible success in such a short time frame, and can’t recommend the product highly enough.  We suggest toasting them over an open fire in a World Inspired tipi!  Our favourite is the double raspberry, which would you go for?
