The World Inspired Tents team started yesterday with slightly fuzzy heads after a night spent celebrating another Wedding Industry Award for Best Wedding Marquee Provider.  Yay!  A heart felt THANK YOU to all our lovely customers who took the time to vote for us (we have just read through your comments and have to confess to being a little choked up).

A sparkly evening was spent at the Bloomsbury Ballroom, amongst some of the wedding industry’s greatest talents.  We were all delighted to be there, having scooped the regional award for the South West, which took us through to the finals.  Although we were hopeful, we were up against some tough competition so spent a good part of the evening on the edges of our seats….

After a couple of hours nail-biting (tempered with some rather lovely bubbles and great company) another season’s hard work and dedication from the whole team was acknowledged.  Once again we have the honour of bringing the trophy for the Best Wedding Marquee Provider back to Devon (to join our other awards!) .  And we couldn’t be happier.

We were joined by some wonderful friends who helped us celebrate, so thanks for the support from Ocean Kave who were quite rightly shortlisted in the Best Newcomer category, and Nicky from Guides for Brides (who sponsor the Best Website award).  Congratulations to all our fellow South West regional finalists, especially Jess at The Poundbury Florist who received the highly commended award in her category.  Thanks also to the lovely Kirsten (The Little Wedding Helper), and the chaps from the Look Look Photo Booth (see above)!  Congratulations also to All About Me Marquees & Events, who were regional finalists in our category – after just a year in business – good work team and lovely to meet you all!

Our biggest thanks go to Damien & Anna Bailey and their team, who not only put on a cracking event, but also work tirelessly to ensure that the wedding industry has a credible and independent awards process. The win is hugely important to us, firstly as it provides real reassurance for brides and grooms when choosing their wedding suppliers, and also as a seal of approval for our beautiful Giant Hat tipis as a reliable, original and visually stunning alternative to traditional marquee hire.

Now to the season ahead, and making sure that all our new customers have amazing events in our World Inspired Tents x
